Dr. Paynton has been at Cal Poly Humboldt for 26 years and has a background in Organizational Communication, Health Communication, and Leadership.  Major courses he teaches are Theory and Research, Health Communication, Leadership, Negotiation, Organizational Communication, and Interpersonal Communication.
